shining new year

spring 2009 shows were filled with shine, which i always love to have in my new year's outfit, so here's a little inspiration for ringing in the new year in style

safari style

YSL was the first to bring the safari look to the runway back in the 70's, over the past couple years, the safari look has been making quite the comeback and it kinda makes you wonder if it ever even went away.

i'm not sure what the label being modeled in the last two pics is but it is definitely safari inspired.
UPDATE: it's Ralph Lauren
